Help us to protect the endangered woods and the creatures that dwell within.

Samhain Insight and Prayer

As you hear the wind howl outside our ancestors primative lodgings
As they huddle for warmth beside a fire
They prayed for enough food to fill their stomachs and
the strength to roam the land to provide the food
They listened to the Green Man and the Goddess
to utilze the Elements in order to survive
The bond of family and village were the mortar
To the stones of survival
Their perserverance and instict over the years, are
the basis to our modern journey

As Mother Earth begins her slumber into winter
we are greatful to never have to know the
hardships of our ancestors, but to be aware of what they have gone through for us.
We have heat for warmth
the ability to have light as the days shorten and grow dark
The gift of food and drink to nourish our bodies
The knowledge of the Elements to expand our minds

Our Coven provides the Mortar
As our Father and Mother are the everlasting stones
always surrounding us with their Love Knowledge and Light

We Call the Element of Air, bring to us the Wind of Change
We Call the Element of Fire, Bring to us your Light of Wisdom
We Call the Element of Water, Cleans away the Negativity of the Past Year
We Call the Element of Earth, Ground us in our New Begginings.

We Honor those of the Past. may they infuse us with their Knowledge and Strength
We Listen to our Ancesteral Voice and their teachings.
We Guide them to the Plains of awakening and holding
We ask them to return to us Anew

Hail Ancestors, you who would teach us, who would guide us through this cycle to come, hear our call. This circle cast is peace welcomes you, in peace. Let us feel your presence

One year ended and another not yet begun: This is the time of darkness! This is the time when we honour the mysteries of the unknown and the unknowable, of that which has no language, no order, no beginning and no end, the darkness of the seemingly infinite universe, the darkness between each thought, the darkness within each atom of being. Let us acknowledge the darkness, welcoming its embrace and its power

Elements you whom are the winds of the Night,
You whom weave your webs and Magical powers,
We call thee, Join us as we prepare for the end and the begining.
Teach us your secrets and invoke them in us your children,
the grace and strength of the Season.
Teach us the hidden secrets of your nature.
Bestow upon us thy Wisdom as we prepare for the New,
Lift us in your arms as we honor those that have passed.
Grant us the fortitude to look ahead and see what is needed.
Be with us and hold us through the times safely.

There is a greeting,

a Merry Meet of Worlds

There is a peace,

all of the Earths Children can hear and or feel the Winds.

For all who have suffered,

For all who have Past,

For all the world's martyrs,

There is a life you can Love.

For all the women burned,

For all the children burned,

For all the world's believers burned,

There is hope.

The Goddess will always be here,

The Green Man will always be here,

The Elements will always be here,
