As we prepare for Lammas / Lughnasadh
our festival of the first harvest...
A Harvest Prayer
O Great Goddess, I ask you to protect and heal our lands
We thank thee for our bountiful harvest
Protect our magic rites with your Loving hands
Give us the Strength to do what we may.
With the Power of Sunlight
The God of the Day, Horned One,
I ask you to show me the path
Guide me and shepherd me with your merry laugh
Be with me forever, all through our times
With music and laughter, and song full of rhymes.
So Mote it Be ☽✪☾

Sun peeks shyly

Sun peeks shyly from behind Thunderhead,
And a faint rainbow across the sky does thread.
One lone frog begins to sing,
And a few bright birds take to wing.
Slowly the mortal creatures crawl forth,
To bask in the Sun's warmth,
But even as the light turns to day,
Elsewhere Storm will enter the fray.
Let us play and honor each and every day
So Mote it Be ☽✪☾

Blessed Silver Moon

Blessed Silver Moon,
Queen of the night,
Lady of the Hunt,
I call upon you with the Stag.
Lead me in new directions.
Unforetold and boundless,
Give me the courage and strength to forge ahead
Help me to live the path, just and true...
Be with me Moon Lady and teach me to be my true self.

Goddess of the Silver Moon and Shining Stars
Green Man of the Mountains and Earth
Mighty Elements that unite us all.
Here in the heart of nature, my spirit is renewed
And all my senses quickened.
Let me never lose the sight of beauty,
The scent of the breeze,
The taste of all the earth provides.
Let me hear the living earth hum around me
And feel your love in the weaving of nature’s web.

Blessed Mother with dreaming hair
Blessed Father of evergreen beard
the wheel turns around
our lands are growing life
our sky bring storms and calm
growth is everywhere
help us to
include it in our hearts and lives
so we do not become stagnant

our spirits are breathing a new air
look to the fields, brooks, and meadows
look into our lives, present and future
the world is brightening
our souls enlightening
honor the rising sun
